We developed a secure web portal for an electrical testing laboratory. It brings the laboratory's customer request forms, testing activities, test data, reports and records together in one central system, so the team can follow the whole testing workflow in one place.

A testing laboratory has to follow every request from the moment a customer submits it until the report is issued. When requests, sample details, quotations, test readings and reports are kept in separate places, it becomes hard to see the status of each request or to find an earlier record. The laboratory needed one system for the whole workflow.
Each testing request is registered as a CRF with its own number, and the team can open and manage it from a central list.
The details of the samples received for testing are recorded with the request.
From each CRF, the team manages the quotation and the work order.
The results of testing are entered into the system and kept with the request as raw data.
The portal supports generating reports from the recorded test data.
Customer feedback for each request is managed in the same place.
The laboratory's equipment list and other master data are maintained in the portal.
Customers can register and log in, and the team manages customer records.
A dashboard shows requests by status, such as total requests, requests under review and completed requests.

The portal is protected by login, and customers and the laboratory team have separate access. We designed it so that the laboratory's requests and test data stay in one controlled system.
