Fast Job Search: A UK Job Portal for Candidates and Employers, Built With Laravel

Fast Job Search is a job board for the United Kingdom where candidates search and apply for jobs and employers post vacancies. We developed the platform, including separate candidate and employer accounts, a detailed job search and a content area for career advice.

THE CHALLENGE

A job portal has two kinds of users with different needs — candidates want to find and apply quickly, employers want to post and reach candidates. Each needs its own account area, and search must be flexible.

Built Process

What We Built

Detailed job search: title/keyword/company, location + distance (5–100 miles), category, job type, on-site/hybrid/remote, date posted, pay level.
Candidate accounts: register, upload CV, save jobs, job alerts, apply.
Employer accounts: register, log in, post jobs.
Job pages with Apply button; featured jobs; browse by industry/city.
Content: blog with career-advice categories, help/FAQ, job-hunting safety guide, about/contact/privacy/terms.
Admin area for managing content.
